Whip up homemade meringues in no time at all with this brilliant new range of mixes from Squires Kitchen. Just add water, whisk, pipe and bake! With a delicious flavour and crisp, light-as-a-feather texture, these are perfect melt-in-the-mouth meringues for desserts and teatime treats. Each packet makes over 50 meringues so it’s ideal for wedding favours, edible gifts or something sweet for last-minute guests. A great time-saving mix to have in your kitchen.
Simply pipe the mixture into your chosen shapes, from nests and kisses to stars and swirls, then get creative with toppings and presentation. Sandwich meringue kisses together with fresh cream or buttercream, crumble them into desserts or dip them in chocolate.
The mix is available in five natural flavours: Coffee, Vanilla, Lemon, Raspberry and Strawberry.

- Preheat the oven to 100˚C (200˚F/gas mark low) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Sift the contents of the packet into the bowl of an electric stand mixer. Add 115ml (4fl oz) of water, at room temperature, and stir gently to mix.
- Using the balloon whisk attachment, whisk the mixture on high speed for 5–6 minutes until it is glossy, has increased in volume and holds a stiff peak.
- Spoon or pipe the meringue mixture into your chosen shapes.
- Bake the meringues for approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on size, then set them aside to cool.
- Once cooled, store the meringues in an airtight container for up to 14 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
- Makes approximately 50 4cm (1½”) diameter meringues or 8–10 meringue nests
